Marybeth Davies - Windermere Prep School
Mary Beth Davies serves as the Middle School Director of Windermere Preparatory School. A charter teacher at WPS, Mrs. Davies has served the WPS community in many roles, among others: English teacher, Form Master, Department Head, and NJHS Advisor. Her contributions to WPS have been many, establishing programs such as the Laker Learning Buddies, the Rites of Passage, American Adventures, the literary magazine Voice, and the Portfolio Program. In addition, Mrs. Davies’ passion for education is evident in the accolades she has received throughout her twelve year professional career. She has achieved numerous awards, including Teacher of the Year, and the illustrious Walt Disney World Teacherrific Award. Mrs. Davies completed her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, accompanied by a Writing Specialist Degree.
Steve Gegerson - GEGERVISION Technologies
In 1991, he began working for Walt Disney World Company where he and his team supported all computer, network and communication systems for Disney World Florida, Disneyland California and Euro-Disney Theme Parks, Resorts and Corporate Offices. In 1997, he joined Strang Communication as the Director of E-Business & Interactive Media. In 1998, he received the honor of being considered one of the top 100 IT Innovators by InfoWorld magazine ahead of organizations such as the United States Air Force, George Washington University, Arthur Andersen, and New York Stock Exchange.
Steve is currently the President of GEGERVISION Technologies, an IT Consulting, Computer Support (computer & networking) and web development company based in Orlando, FL.
Michelle Davies - Big Belly Creative
Michelle Davies, is the founder and owner of Big Belly Creative, an Orlando based agency specializing in interactive media, print, design and leading edge technology combining over 20 years of experience in creativity, development, project management and high level client services management.
Michelle was born in the UK and received an Honors degree in IT and Electronics, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education she is married with two children.
Beverly Page - Southwest United Communites
Orlando Chocolate Nutcracker
Mrs. Page has travel extensively throughout the United States and Overseas with the Department of Defense as a Test Specialist and educator. She has a B.A. in Drama and a Minor in Speech Communications, M.A., in Education and Special Education, post graduate credentials from Winthrop University in Educational Leadership and Supervision. She has over seventeen years experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator for the public school systems (Chicago, Massachusetts, Texas, South Carolina, and Virginia). Her professional Theatre credits are in production management, stage management, costume designs and fundraising. She is the Executive Director of Southwest United Communities, Inc.
Arlene Prewitt - Jones High School
Arlene Prewitt is the Learning Specialist and Writing Coach for Jones High School. She has served on the Florida Department of Education FCAT reading and writing committees for the past nine years and is currently a member of the Department of Education Reading Advisory Council. Prior to her work at Jones, she served for three years at the district office in Professional Development Services.
